Musk Reveals Plan to Expose Epstein Case Files

(MENAFN) Tech magnate Elon Musk reignited his feud with ally, U.S. President Donald Trump, on Tuesday by calling out Trump’s handling of the Jeffrey Epstein case. Musk declared that his emerging political group, the America Party, would prioritize disclosing sealed information related to Epstein, a convicted sex offender.

“How can people be expected to have faith in Trump if he won’t release the Epstein files?” Musk posted on X, the platform he owns.

When a user questioned whether the America Party would prioritize exposing the Epstein documents, Musk replied with a "100" emoji, signaling strong agreement.

Once a prominent supporter and major donor to Trump, Musk has since distanced himself from the president. Their falling-out became public after Musk denounced Trump’s signature “Big Beautiful Bill,” labeling it “utterly insane and destructive.”

In June, Musk floated the idea of starting a new political party and polled his X followers, asking if it was “time to create a new political party in America that actually represents the 80% in the middle." He later endorsed a follower’s proposal to name the group the America Party. The name mirrors the America PAC, which Musk launched in 2024 and which funneled $239 million into supporting Trump and other GOP candidates during that election cycle.

Earlier this year, Musk urged Congress to impeach Trump, asserting the president was named in documents tied to Epstein. However, he later walked back that claim.

While images of Trump and Epstein together have circulated for years, Trump has maintained he had no knowledge of Epstein’s criminal activities, which included procuring a minor for prostitution and sex trafficking.

U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi recently stated that Epstein’s alleged client list would not be released because, according to her, no such list exists.

Critics have pointed to the Trump administration’s retreat from earlier commitments to disclose Epstein-related files—a move that has stirred frustration among conservative circles that once counted on greater transparency.
